Gem Grab: protect the advantage
Control the center without giving away everything you earned.

Make the center safe
Control the routes around the gem mine rather than crowding directly on it. If opponents must walk through your team’s firing lanes, collecting gems becomes less risky.
Give the carrier an exit
The teammate holding most of your gems needs room to retreat. Help protect their escape and avoid leading enemies toward them. A carrier should not be the first person charging into a new fight.
Change your plan during the countdown
Once your team holds the required advantage, survival matters more than an extra elimination. Retreat to a defensible position while keeping enough pressure to stop an easy chase.
Recover patiently
If the opposing team starts a countdown, look for a coordinated opening on the carrier. Three separate desperate pushes are easier to defend than one supported engagement.
Your next-match checklist
Build control, protect the carrier, and shift from collecting to surviving when the situation calls for it.
